Enhancing Teachers’ Resilience through Teacher Professional Development

Many studies have proven that teacher resilience is one of the fostering factors commitment to stay in their teaching career. Although many been conducted around topic resilience, there still a gap literature on what professional development was done by resilient teachers contributed decision careers. In filling void, this narrative inquiry-designed research aimed at understanding experiences and perceptions considered career's early years. In-depth interviews were with four Indonesian answer two questions: (1) What features (TPD) learning activities which participate? (2) are teachers’ about TPD? The findings show undertook both formal informal TPD programs, such as seminars webinars, courses workshops, dialogue other teachers, observation visits schools, reading. believe calling makes them committed profession. And programs believed be supportive because they equip skills, knowledge, need tackle constraints.
